Insulated PVC Flat Duct 130×30 mm — Anti-Condensation Underfloor Air Supply Ducting

This insulated flat duct is purpose-built for underfloor fresh air distribution (AFD). The dual-channel PVC inner core carries the air, a 5 mm high-density rubber-plastic foam layer provides thermal insulation, and an aluminum foil outer wrap finishes the surface. The slim 130×30 mm profile fits inside a standard screed layer — no deep floor buildup required.

GUANDE supplies this duct in 16 m packs, silver gray, from regular stock. Inner core in PVC with optional ABS; OEM sizes and packaging are welcome.

Why Insulation Matters Under the Floor

Supply air leaving a heat recovery unit is cooler than room temperature in summer and can be cold in winter. Without insulation, the metal-cold surface of an uninsulated duct meets warm humid screed air and condensation forms — wet insulation, mold risk and energy loss. The closed-cell rubber-plastic foam layer stops condensation before it starts and keeps the supply air temperature stable all the way to the floor outlet.

Q: Can this duct be bent around corners?
A: The PVC core is semi-rigid. Use our dedicated insulated elbows for clean 90° turns; gentle offsets can be formed by hand.

Q: Is the insulation closed-cell?
A: Yes. The rubber-plastic foam is closed-cell, so it resists moisture absorption and keeps its thermal performance over years.

Q: Do you offer other sizes?
