The straight duct is the workhorse of the system: a rigid PVC channel that runs along the wall carrying the insulated copper pair, the power cable and the condensate drain. It is supplied in standard lengths and can be cut on site, so the same section handles a short balcony run and a full facade. This fitting is supplied in black, moulded from the same colour-through PVC as the black kit, so joints and corners stay invisible on the wall.

Black suits the dark design language of modern builds: anthracite window frames, dark cladding, charcoal render and minimalist commercial frontages. On these walls a light-coloured run would stand out badly, while the straight duct section reads as part of the architecture instead of pipework. As with every colour in the range, the pigment is moulded all the way through the PVC, so the finish will not peel or flake. Combined with the matching kit, it gives a continuous matte line from the indoor unit to the outdoor condenser.

Q: Can straight duct sections be cut to length?
A: Yes. Cut the section with a fine-tooth saw and finish the cut end with an end cap, or join two sections with a coupling.
Q: Which profile widths do you supply?
A: The straight duct is produced in the 75 mm slim profile.
Q: How is the duct fixed to the wall?
A: The base channel is screwed to the wall at intervals and the cover snaps on afterwards, so the line set can be laid in before closing.
