Fan noise travels along the duct. This perforated metal duct silencer stops it. A galvanized steel cylinder houses a perforated inner tube wrapped with a sound-absorbing layer: air passes straight through, while noise energy is captured and dissipated inside the chamber. The result is a quieter room with no meaningful loss of airflow.

A: The straight-through perforated core keeps pressure loss low. For system design, select the silencer diameter equal to the duct diameter.

Q: Can you supply custom lengths and flanges?
A: Yes. Standard stock lengths are kept for all seven diameters; custom lengths and connection types are available under our OEM service.
